Renagmec Power Corporation specializes in the sale of distribution transformers, poles, and line hardware. We also offer preventive maintenance services for substations of electric cooperatives and comprehensive line construction services through our subsidiary, LESAMBEC Construction Corp. Additionally, through our subsidiary EZ8 Graphics and Printing Corporation, we provide high-quality printing services for a variety of needs. Our commitment to quality and reliability ensures that your energy infrastructure is robust and efficient, paving the way for a sustainable and powerful future

Our Story

RENAGMEC Power Corporation is proudly owned by 11 electric cooperatives in Region 8, namely: LEYECO I/DORELCO, LEYECO II, LEYECO III, LEYECO IV, LEYECO V, SOLECO, BILECO, SAMELCO I, SAMELCO II, ESAMELCO, and NORSAMELCO. These cooperatives collectively form the Federation of Rural Electric Cooperatives in Region 8 (FRECOR8), a non-stock, non-profit organization established to meet the operational needs of its member cooperatives.

RENAGMEC was originally formed to participate in the Unified Leyte Geothermal Power Plant (ULGPP) Independent Power Producer Administrators (IPPAs) bidding process. Although we did not win the bidding, our commitment to serving the electric cooperatives remained strong, driving us to explore other avenues for growth and service expansion.

Founding and Early Development

In 2013, FRECOR8 established RENAGMEC Power Corporation as its business arm, with our main office located in Tacloban City. Our initial focus was on facilitating training for the staff and management of electric cooperatives in Region 8. This initiative aimed to strengthen the capabilities of our member cooperatives through professional development.

Service Expansion

As our expertise and services grew, we expanded into Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) to ensure the optimal health and functionality of substations across the region. This critical service helps minimize power interruptions and improve the reliability of electricity supply.

Another significant milestone was the establishment of LESAMBEC Construction Corporation, created to address the pole line construction and repair needs of electric cooperatives. This service became fully operational after we relocated to our new office in Brgy. San Juan, Sta. Rita, Samar, in 2021, following the purchase of a three-hectare lot.

Diversification and Growth

Our journey has seen continuous growth and diversification to better serve our community. We have expanded into:

· Trading Division: Collaborating with major suppliers to provide steel poles, transformers, and other line materials to electric cooperatives, private companies, and telecommunications firms.

· Printing Services: Investing in tarpaulin printers, offset printers, and other equipment to meet the printing needs of electric cooperatives and the community.

·  Fuel Industry: Establishing a gasoline station to further support the operational requirements of our member cooperatives and the local community.

Today, RENAGMEC Power Corporation stands as a dynamic and trusted partner dedicated to the development and operational efficiency of electric cooperatives in Region 8, continuously striving for growth and service excellence.
